Theodore ~ Lab X mastiff (on trial 3/05/16)

Meet Theodore! Theodore is a beautiful 10 week old male Labrador X Mastiff puppy. He has a soft fluffy brindle coat and little brown eyes that will melt your heart.

Theodore loves to be outside during the day, exploring his surroundings and snoozing in the shade. He fills his day with lots of play and then he sleeps inside during the night in his playpen snuggled up to his toys and his blankeys.

Theo is showing great response to his basic training, he can already sit for treats and his dinner and is practically toilet trained! He likes to go potty on the grass and lets himself out when possible or will cry to let you know he wishes to go outside for pee pees. For his age let me just say this is remarkable!

Theodore has been in care surrounded by children aged 8 months to 6 years and is gentle and playful. He enjoys running around the yard with kids, chasing balls and his all time favourite is tug-o-war. Theodore has also been exposed to caged rabbits and birds and is not bothered by such pets.

He plays well with both small and large dogs however can be a little protective over his food (only with other dogs, not humans). It is for this reason we believe Theo would be ideal as an only dog. Then he can still enjoy some fun with other dogs by having trips to the local dog park or beach as he does love the company of other dogs, but not have the worry of somebody trying to steal his tucker.

Theodore will make a loving and loyal friend and is looking forward to meeting his forever family. We always recommend puppy-training classes to give your new family member the best start in life. All dogs and puppies need plenty of affection, exercise, and training. Theo will grow up to be a medium to large size dog and will need secure fencing.

As Theodore is not yet desexed, he is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens because he'll need to be returned to one of our vets for desexing when he's 5 or 6 months old.
