About Vixen ~ Cattle X Mastiff female pup(Trial 12/8/16)
Sweet little Vixen is a female Cattledog X Mastiff puppy. She is 6 months old (Born February 2016). Vixen takes after her mum and has a stumpy tail and when she greets you her little tail wags so fast.
Vixen has the shiniest coat and bubbly personality. This little sweetie spends her days playing with her siblings and foster brothers and sister, she plays well with dogs of all sizes and loves human company. Vixen would not suit a home with small children as she is only small and could be easily injured. As she is a puppy she will need lots of socialising and training so we strongly recommend puppy pre-school.
Vixen will need to be part of the family and have access to inside and outside - she currently sleeps inside and sleeps all night in her snuggly bed. Vixen is only a baby and requires a nutritious and balanced diet several times a day therefore she will need a home where there is someone home most of the time. Her diet consists of a combination of good quality dry food, puppy milk and a combination of puppy wet food and chicken, rice and vegies. Being a puppy, she should not be left alone for extended periods as she may get into mischief.
Vixen will be a medium to large dog and will require a good size yard with secure fencing and plenty of exercise. She would love another doggy friend to play with and be a role model. Vixen will give you a lifetime of love and loyalty - she is just waiting for her new best friend to come along.

As Vixen is not yet desexed, she is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens because she'll need to be returned to one of our vets for desexing when she's 5 or 6 months old.
Vixen’s adoption fee is $400 which includes vaccination, worm and flea treatment and microchipping and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
