Oliver ~ 9wo Cattle X Mastiff (on trial 22/05/16)

Oliver is a beautiful little Cattledog X Mastiff puppy. He is 9 weeks old (Born February 2016). Oliver gets on great with dogs of all sizes and is very gentle with children.

Oliver came into care with his 4 siblings, he is the most gentle boy and has the softest fur. Oliver spends his days playing “rough and tumble” with his siblings and foster siblings. His favourite game is fetch the stick. Being a typical puppy Oliver will require ongoing training and to have another dog as a role model would be great. Oliver comes when he is called (most of the time) and his house training is coming along well. We strongly recommend puppy pre-school to assist with training and socialisation.

Oliver will be a medium to large dog and will require a good size yard with secure fencing and plenty of exercise. He will need to be part of the family and have access to inside and outside - he currently sleeps inside and sleeps all night in his snuggly bed.

Oliver is only a baby and requires a nutritious and balanced diet several times a day therefore he will need a home where there is someone home most of the time. His diet consists of a combination of good quality dry food, puppy milk and a combination of puppy wet food and chicken, rice and vegies. Being a puppy, he should not be left alone for extended periods as he may get into mischief.

As Oliver is not yet desexed, he is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens because he'll need to be returned to one of our vets for desexing when he's 5 or 6 months old.
