Adoption information
I've been adopted!
About Jax has found his forever home.
Jax is a two year old long stock coat male German Shepherd who is currently located at Dubbo and has come into our care. In excellent health Jax has been desexed, vaccinated, life time registered and is on heart worm prevention.
Jax has had a rough start to his young life and he was onto his fourth home through no fault of his own, when taken into care.
Jax unfortunately is frightened of men and is a needy dog in that he lacks confidence so we are looking for a home where he has a calm environment with routine and consistency in his daily life.
Jax loves females and so we are seeking a home where he can bond with his female human pack and then he should quickly settle and connect with his new owner.
At this stage no other pets but he does seem to be OK with his fellow rescue dogs. However, Jax does like to be near his human pack so inclusion in the family home is a must.
Because he is timid he is not a guard dog and could well suffer from separation anxiety if left alone for too long and not care. He must be slowly but surely introduced into new family life and allowed in the home. He has a very sweet natured dog who will gain confidence and become less anxious when he knows his place in his new family and has the benefit of a confident owner who will ensure he has a stable environment and structure to his daily life.
Please call Jo if you can give Jax the best home.
Medical notes
Jax is currently located at Dubbo and has been desexed, vaccinatedf C5 is on heart worm prevention.
