Lyla ~ border collie x kelpie (On Trial 12/5/16)

Lyla is a 10 week old, female, border collie x kelpie puppy. She's an affectionate, happy little girl who loves a cuddle. She is very healthy and has been raised in a home environment with other puppies, dogs and people. She gets along very well with dogs of all different breeds, sizes and ages.

Lyla will grow up to be a medium sized dog. She'll need a daily walk, toys, and interaction with people. Puppies are a big commitment for approximately 12 to 15 years.

Lyla needs to be allowed inside when people are home, and must sleep inside. She will be great family dog and is suitable for children 8 years and older (she could accidently knock over a smaller child). You will need good fencing with no small gaps. She cannot go to rural fencing (eg: mesh or wire).

It would be a big plus if you have a friendly adult dog as a teacher, companion and playmate for Lyla. If you don't have another dog to keep her company, then we'd like for there to be someone in the household that doesn't work full time so Lyla doesn't have to spend long hours home alone.

As Lyla is not yet desexed, she is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens because She'll need to be returned to our vet for desexing when She's 4 or 5 months old. Lyla will be ready to go to her forever home on 9/4/16, after her second vaccination.
