About Cindy ~ 10yo Terrier X Cattle (on trial 6/06/16)
Cindy is a lovely 10 year old terrier X cattle girl. She is looking for a caring companion to give her cuddles and love.
Cindy is a good girl - she is fully toilet trained and can use a doggie door. She is an inside dog and needs to be allowed inside, at least when people are home, and to sleep inside.
Cindy is playful and loves a walk. She doesn’t like too many stairs though and can’t jump high so she is currently lifted up on the lounge for cuddles. Snuggling on the lounge with you is her favourite.
Cindy would best suit someone who is retired or home a lot of the time. She gets along well with other dogs, but she wouldn’t mind being an only dog if someone is home often with her (eg. retired or working from home). She is ok with kids, but better if they are older. Cindy is cat friendly.
This beautiful girl is hoping to find someone who will love and care for her and she will love you endlessly in return.
For more information or to meet Cindy, please contact her foster carer Lou by emailing l.scott2@bigpond.com. Cindy is in foster care in Rathmines, NSW (Lake Macquarie, south of Newcastle) and is not available for adoption interstate.
Cindy's adoption fee is only $100 because of her senior status and she is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
