About Teddy ~ cattle x puppy (on trial 27/05/16)
Teddy is a beautiful 12 week old, Australian Cattle Dog x puppy. He is a very good puppy and loves the company of his humans and doggy friends. He is an inside dog and needs to be a family member. He will be medium size when all grown up.
Teddy is learning his house training and is doing very well but is only a baby and accidents will happen. Like all puppies he loves to chew things including fingers and toes which make him unsuitable for adoption for families with children under 10yrs.
Teddy loves to play with toys and his brother Lucky and is well socialized with other dogs. He is a very affectionate boy and loves his cuddles.
We always recommend puppy-training classes to give your new family member the best start in life. All dogs and puppies need plenty of affection, exercise, and training.
As Teddy is not yet desexed, he is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens because he'll need to be returned to one of our vets for desexing when he's around 5 months old.
For more information or to meet Teddy, please contact his foster carer Debbie on 0408 825 714 (preferred ) or email debbie_morphett@bigpond.com. Teddy is in foster care in Beresfield, NSW 2322 (near Newcastle).
Teddy's adoption fee is $500 and includes his desexing, first two vaccinations, microchipping and he has been treated for fleas and worms. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
