About Nala
This lovely girl is Nala
Nala came to us as an adorable pup with very little social skills. She showed us that she was very smart and determined. Over time, she learned her commands and impressed her foster carer with her lovely manners. Nala was then adopted to a fantastic home where she had a wonderful upbringing, constant socialising and lots of love offered. Unfortunately, Nala has recently decided she is the boss and is making life rather unpleasant for the other dog in the home.
She gets along really well with other dogs of similar size in social environments, parks etc but wants to be the alpha in her home.
For this reason, we agree with her current owner that the best decision for everyone is that Nala needs to find an amazing new home full of love as an 'only dog'.
Nala is very affectionate and full of love towards her people. She is very active and will require regular walks and outings to burn off lots of energy. She will be well suited to a home with a large backyard where she will have plenty of space to move. Being young, she loves her games and playtime with her people.
Considering she is used to having a constant companion, Nala will do well in a home where her people will be home a lot of the time and can offer her lots of company to prevent her becoming bored and possibly destructive to create her own entertainment.
Nala will be extremely happy if she is allowed to spend time inside for cuddles. She loves being inside to curl up on her bed and be close to her family. She is toilet trained and has very nice manners when she is indoors.
While she has been in her new home, Nala has been receiving training and has had classes from behaviourists. She is very smart and aims to please. She can sometimes be a little strong willed so a home with a confident leader who is experienced with larger breed dogs will be an advantage.
Considering Nala's energetic breed, she will be best suited to a home with no cats as she loves to chase moving things and a home with children aged 10+ will be best to avoid young children being knocked over while Nala is running/playing.
