About Bronx ID 30828
Meet Bronx!
Bronx is a happy, bouncy boy who still has the lovable goofiness of a puppy. Bronx started off a little shy & nervous in the shelter but has come out of his shell quickly and has lots of human friends now.
It might take a tiny moment for Bronx to warm up to you (and we don't mean long - a few seconds really!) but once he has, he'll be your best friend. He loves getting cuddles & pats and being involved in whatever you're doing.
Bronx doesn't seem to have met many dogs before and is still a bit unsure about how to act around them. He will initially be very excited & pull towards other dogs and can be lead reactive. He has met a few dogs in K9 Social Club and is gaining vital social skills & confidence with other dogs, but he's not the sort of dog that would be ready to visit busy, dog-populated areas such as the beach or park etc. He may be best suited as the only dog in the home until he can practice his dog social skills further. GAWS can assist new owners with private, one-on-one dog training sessions available.
It would be great for Bronx to attend a dog obedience class where he can learn fun new skills while socialising with other dogs, and with a little time and training he will blossom into a well-balanced dog. Bronx is still young so has lots of potential to be great at obedience!
If you'd like to meet Bronx, come in to the shelter to arrange a meet and greet!
Medical notes
Bronx is currently on medication for Diarrhoea. He will be available for meet and greets pending the outcome of his treatment - please phone the shelter before your visit to avoid any disappointment!
