About Violet "Cool Cat"
Violet is the longest cat in FFAR’s care, having been with a foster carer for 3 & a half years!!
Are we pulling at your heartstrings for some compassionate person to please give her a home for her mature phase? Absolutely.
She’s shy of strangers so potential adopters would struggle to get to know or maybe even see her on a visit. However in her current home she likes to be around the humans especially at night…. Often having to be removed from the human bed. During the day she loves being outside.
She has little decorum, and is far from a dainty cat, but she has lots of personality.
She’s lived with dogs, and cats, who she tolerates and befriends over time.
Her main quirk is that she doesn’t like to be patted. It’s like human hands are made of something evil (although she’s cool being picked up). Lay on the couch, and she may come and sit next to you or on you – but do not pat her more than briefly, or she will let you know that this is not cool.
Pro’s – compared to many of the kitties looking for homes, she doesn’t walk on the keyboard when you’re typing, doesn’t jump on the kitchen bench, doesn’t scratch the furniture, and doesn’t harass visitors for pats and put fur on their clothes.
Will anyone open their home to this beautiful, low maintenance older kitty?
Violet is located in Kingsbury. Please do contact us and come say hello!
Medical notes
Violet is desexed, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations, flea & worm treatment.
