Jett ~ 7mo Kelpie X Cattle boy (On Trial 3/7/16)

Meet Jett – a gorgeous 7 month old kelpie x cattle dog puppy. Jett is a very loveable and affectionate boy who loves to be around people and would make a fantastic companion. He is such a happy dog who almost never barks and he gives the best cuddles. How could anyone resist those gorgeous shaggy ears and his shiny black coat!

Jett loves pats and will roll onto his back for one of his favourite things – a belly rub. His tail is always happily wagging when someone is around. He loves to run around the yard playing chasies and playing with his own toys. He is not that interested in chasing a ball just yet but absolutely loves going for a walk. He walks well on the lead and only barks when his human 4 year old foster brother gets away too fast on the scooter! He just thinks he is one of the kids. Jett is in foster care with 3 human foster brothers aged 11, 9 and 4. He loves being around them but does get very excited when he first sees them come home and can jump up. This is mainly because he is still a puppy.

Jett knows how to sit and wait for his dinner and is learning more commands. He is a fast learner and responds well to training as he is very rewards motivated. He just loves food! He will eat just about anything. He loves chewing on bones and his other chew toys.

Jett is a very active dog and would love to go to a family that would walk him at least once a day. He is also a good runner and his foster mum sometimes takes him on 5km runs which he loves. He is very obedient when out and about and always comes straight back to you when called. He is in foster care as an only dog but has met many dogs at the park and loves playing with them. He would love a doggy brother or sister to play with but he is also happy on his own with his humans as long as he gets his walks and meets the other neighbourhood dogs.

Jett loves being spoilt and let inside the house so he would love a forever home where he is allowed inside. He is also happy out in the yard and can sleep either in a warm cosy kennel in an undercover area or inside on his doggy bed. He loves to join the family watching TV at night, and he is generally well behaved inside and stays on his bed and sleeps.

Overall Jett is a happy, affectionate and playful dog with lots of energy and lots of love to give. All he wants is love, cuddles and belly rubs and he will be your friend forever!
