About Smudge
Smudge found his own foster parents. Yes he did!!
Abandoned on the street and being picked on by bigger cats he arrived on the front door step of his now foster parents and repeatedly cried for them to help him.
Being such a handsome and gentle boy they took him inside. Who could refuse those big golden eyes and the shiny black sleek coat.
Smudge would be ideal for apartment living he has told his foster Mum that life on the streets is not for him and he needs a safe secure home. Smudge is a friendly cat and loves the company of people.
If you think you would like to adopt this stunning boy cat then please call Jeanette on 0401 148 076 as she is taking applications on behalf of Smudge for his new parent/s.
Adoption details
STUFF YOU NEED TO KNOW: I will come desexed, vaccinated (1st F3) and microchipped and will have up to date worm and flea treatments. I will need to be lifetime registered which is a $52 once off fee. ($21.00 for eligible pensioners) This is compulsory in NSW.
ADOPTING ME: You must be able to provide me with a loving long term and safe home. I would be fine in an apartment as long as I didn't have free run of the balcony if it wasn't fully enclosed. Please ensure your house or apartment can contain a cat inside (ie fly screens etc).
Please remember that I have thought seriously about taking you on and when you take me home, I am committing to you for life. So, I hope you have thought seriously about this and are likewise planning on committing to me.
ABOUT YOU: Given you know all about me, my foster parents would like to know something about who my new parents are going to be. They have rescued me from death row and have given me a lot of care and love. I know they love me and therefore want the best for me.
ABOUT US: AWL Western Suburbs branch wants to promote adoptions of cats from Blacktown Pound and to try to re-home them either directly from the pound or from our foster carers. If you would like to help us, please feel free to contact us and find out how you may assist, including being a foster parent.
All adoptions will require a Preadoption application form completed and returned prior to a meet & greet with our cats. Forms will be emailed to you after the initial phone enquiry or email for a form now.
