About Lily
Lily is a cheeky, confident and bossy little girl who came into care with her brother Donnie. She is a little chunky and could deal with losing a bit of weight but overwise her health is great for her age. She is only a small girl around the 3-4 kilo weighting and is low maintenance in the activity department. She would do well in a household that allows her to spend most of her days inside as she had been restricted as outdoors only before her surrendering. She is happy to sit and lie on the couch with you and watch tv or have an afternoon nap.
She would be fine in a household with a brisk walk here and there, she isn't really fussed on lots of exercise. Even though she has been exposed to young kids, we would suggest either kids that are dog savvy or over the age of 7 as she is small so we want to make sure she isn't grabbed and tugged around a lot.
She would be suitable as an only dog as she is a little selective with the dogs she is friends with. Not aggressive but she does really enjoy her space from others so a home with a retired couple as a companion would be perfect for her
Adoption details
In the ENQUIRY SECTION please explain in LENGTH some basics about yourself/ your life/ your household and what type of life you can provide for one of our rescue animals.
If successful, you would be contacted by phone, where we will talk about your enquiry and potentially organise a meet and greet between you/ your dogs/ your family and the potential candidate
From there, you can either take your animal with you if the meet and greet was successful and their vet work has been completed- or if the vet work hasn't been completed, you must wait until it's finished before taking your new friend home which will be organised between yourself and the foster carer.
Every animal has a 2 week trial period.
