About Donnie
Donnie is a small character and a social boy at that. Even though he is almost 9 years old, he is still full of surprises and has learnt both his toilet and crate training whilst in care and proved that he is an easygoing and much loving boy.
He came into care with his sister lily and even though we would love to rehome them together, we are now taking applications for them as separate companions. He is only small in stature, around 4-5 kilos if that and has a beautiful Black and Tan coat with white throughout.
He is a low maintainence boy who would do fine with limited exercise or a brisk walk around when suitable. Due to his age, we would suggest a home where he spends most of his time indoors. He has been an outdoor dog his whole life before being surrendered into our care and due to this, he has suffered severe fly bite to the tips of his ears which are now being treated.
He would suit a home as either an only dog or with another friendly and social dog of any size as he has been socialised with dogs large and small. He has met some young kids whilst in care and although he wasn't too fussed with them, dog savvy children or kids over to age of 7 are most suitable for him.
Adoption details
In the ENQUIRY SECTION please explain in LENGTH some basics about yourself/ your life/ your household and what type of life you can provide for one of our rescue animals.
If successful, you would be contacted by phone, where we will talk about your enquiry and potentially organise a meet and greet between you/ your dogs/ your family and the potential candidate
From there, you can either take your animal with you if the meet and greet was successful and their vet work has been completed- or if the vet work hasn't been completed, you must wait until it's finished before taking your new friend home which will be organised between yourself and the foster carer.
Every animal has a 2 week trial period.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
