Brax

My name is Brax I was surrendered due to no fault of my own and am now searching for my forever home.

I am an extremely friendly outgoing Border Collie, perhaps even too friendly with my people as I crave human affection. So the sort of home that would suit me is with someone who is home a lot or with another dog would be the ideal for me.

I can be attention seeking, and do require training, so someone with experience with working breeds would be best. I also need regular exercise as I am quite energetic, and plenty of mental stimulation otherwise I may become bored which leads to unwanted behaviours.

My foster carer describes me as the most beautifully natured dog who adore her own two small dogs. I am always looking to play and run around with them! She also says I am very mischievous and will do anything for a bit of attention, including sneaking in her doggy door wandering around the house hoping no one notices! Of course I am only a puppy yet and still have a lot of growing up to do.

I am a little timid when it comes to going through simple things like doors or getting into the car, however lots of confidence building training will help me immensely.

I know basic obedience and come to my name, however I'm not tested off lead so couldn't say what I may be like. Border Collies as most people know are one of the most intelligent breeds and excel at all sorts of obedience and dog sports but I do need an experienced handler and plenty of exercise. I will make a superb companion in the right home.
