Brutus ~ Bull Terrier x Mastiff (on trial 2/6/16)

Brutus is a charming 15 week old, male, Bull Terrier x Mastiff who is one of the most sweetest and gentle puppies his carer has ever met. He is amazing with children, and tolerant of young babies and toddlers - which is amazing in itself given his playful age. He enjoys play time just as much as the next pup, but never jumps or nips. He is very dog social and gets along well with other dogs.

Brutus is showing amazing progress with training and is responding well to house training. He is also responding well to basic training and can already obey commands to sit, lay and stay.

Brutus walks well on the lead and doesn't pull. Being so young he will need continued training as he will grow into a big dog, so it's important to keep on top of this training. We always recommend puppy-training classes to give your new family member the best start in life.

Brutus is a super sweet boy who enjoys cuddles, and you'll be pleased to know he is very quiet and so far doesn't bark. He is quickly learning how to bring the ball back and loves fetching sticks.

Above all else, Brutus' favourite thing to do is to relax on the back deck with the sun shining down on his puppy tummy whilst enjoying a nice tasty chew. Nothing beats this.

Due to his potential size he will need a medium to large size yard with secure 5 - 6ft fenncing fencing (with no gaps). Being so dog social, a companion for him to play with would be a big bonus!

Brutus would suit a home with someone who wants a big dog when fully grown and who is willing to continue his basic training. His beautiful nature and lovable personality makes him the ideal companion for families with children and other dogs.

As Brutus is not yet desexed, he is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens because he'll need to be returned to one of our vets for desexing when he's 4 or 5 months old.
