About Monty (Only dog home)
Monty is a Purebred Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who has found himself back in Wally's care. He is currently in foster care with 3 other dogs, kids and his foster mum. Monty will need to be rehomed into an only dog home as he can be dominant with other dogs living with him and displayed some food aggression towards them. We would prefer any children to be over the age of 8yrs.
You will need to be seen as the 'pack leader' and show Monty that he won't be running the household...in other words, if your a big softy, Monty will be your boss! Monty gets spooked by unfamiliar sounds but does love to be wherever you are. He lovesss his walks but does tend to pull on the lead so will need corrective training with this. Monty will 'sit', 'stay' and responds well to his name.
Monty is an inside/outside dog, has not shown interest in toys/balls and just wants to become someone's companion. He can be quite vocal when left alone or if he hears unfamiliar sounds so would be ideally suited to a home where he had the company of his humans. He will lap up every bit of attention he can get and food is his number 1 love. If you have experience with dogs and a good pack leader, then Monty would love to win you over with his charm and good looks.
Monty will come microchipped, vaccinated, desexed, wormed and flea treated and is available for adoption now. Located in Lake Munmorah, NSW.
Medical notes
Happy, healthy dog

Please contact Vanessa via phone/email should you wish to meet Monty.
When enquiring about Monty, please give us some indication of the type of home that he would have with you. We are interested in things such as other animals (past and present), children who may have contact with the dog, whether you own or rent your home, what opportunities for socialization outside the home your dog would have, how much you/someone is home and most importantly, why you feel this dog may be suitable for you.
Wally's Doggie Rescue put a lot of time and effort into ensuring our dogs/pups are sociable and made to feel part of the family, so in considering adoptions, these are the type of things we will be looking for in a new family.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
