Can you foster or adopt Ellie? She is a sweet girl with a big personality in a tiny (3kg), scruffy body.

Ellie is happy to entertain herself catching flies or running around outside, but will let you know when she wants your attention. She has excellent communication skills and will ask for ‘pats please’ with a little grumble and a wiggly tail. She loves to sit close to you on the couch and follow you around the house.

Ellie is very clever at building blanket forts and will burrow into any blanket like a typical terrier. She has even been found snuggled up in a pillowcase! Being so tiny, Ellie thinks there’s no point doing ‘sit’ because she’s close enough to the ground anyway. She knows ‘stay,’ ‘out’ and ‘off,’ she is house trained and is an expert at using a doggy door.

While Ellie could live with another small dog pending introduction, she is reactive to dogs when out on walks and will need someone who is committed to working through this with her. The little lady can be bossy and is fiercely loyal to her owner, so will suit an experienced owner without young kids.
