About Bentley ~ Jack Russell x (on trial 23/04/16)
Introducing Bentley, a 3 year old Jack Russell Terrier X Lhasa Apso, the cutest little guy you will ever meet. This is the complete package – good looks and smart too!
Bentley loves attention, has a beautiful temperament and he is even house trained! He can sit, lay and he comes to his name. His favourite pastimes are: chasing the ball, playing tug-o-war and going for walks with his human.
Bentley’s ideal home would be with someone who is home a lot and will give him all the love and attention he deserves. In return, he will be your best buddy. Bentley is good with kids, but because of his size he is more suited to older children. Dislikes include cats! They are too quick and he just loves to chase them.
Bentley would love to snuggle up when you’re chilling on the lounge or keep you company when you are working in the garden. Except he is a bit frightened of the hose – the cheeky thing sneaks up on you when you least expect it.
Now don’t you just wish Bentley could be a part of your life? Well the good news is, he is waiting to meet you and start the next chapter of his life in his forever home. Could it be with you?
For more information or to meet Bentley, please contact his foster carer Sue on 0422 395 229 or email susan52@live.com. Bentley is in foster care in the Cessnock area, NSW (west of Newcastle) and is available for adoption interstate.
Bentley's adoption fee is $400 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
