About Nelly
Hi, I'm Nelly! I love being up on the couch and cuddling so much so that I will go nuts and run around like mad in the lounge room. I didn't inherit the height gene and as my legs are so short I can't be jumping up too much. At the moment I am being trained with treats to sit so my foster mum can pick me up and place me on the couch next to her. We wouldn't want any falls trying to get on the couch so I'm being a good little girl and sitting on the floor first.
I'm a little bundle of affection who enjoys snuggling up on laps. I prefer a quieter household and love spending time with my people so will suit someone who is looking for a companion throughout the day. I would also love the company of a quiet doggy friend.
I'm happiest with my days spent inside but still love a daily run around at the park. I enjoy playing with other dogs my size and get along well with cats but can get a bit intimidated around big dogs. I think that is just because I'm not used to being in their company.
My foster mum says I'm a well mannered, gentle dog who has a lot of love to give and I'm looking for someone who can offer the same.
