About Tsuki and Taiyo
**We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at http://www.maggiesrescue.org/adoption-enquiry/. Please use this link rather than the 'find out more' button on the pet's PetRescue profile.**
Hello! We're Taiyo and Tsuki, a gorgeous bonded pair looking for our furever home. :) Let us introduce ourselves in a bit more detail.
Tsuki: So I'm a boy, I'm a Persian, I'm 10 years old and very healthy, and I LOVE a chat. I have an inquisitive face that reflects just how smart I am, and I'm super loving too - I could cuddle all day if you wanted to!
I don't really need any fancy toys, but boxes, bags and shoes are my 'thing'. I just love snuggling into them. :)
Taiyo: Hey! I'm a 9-year-old girl cat. Tsuki might be one of those fancy-pants felines (and sure, I'll admit - he IS pretty cute), but my dad reckons I'm the sweetest kitty he's ever met. I'm ridiculously placid - I want nothing more than to love and be loved. I like to sit on the bed, on the sofa, under the sofa, or on my human.
OUR IDEAL HOME:... is somewhere we can revel in lots of love and attention, and have plenty of space to play. We definitely are looking for an indoor-only home please.
OUR ENERGY LEVELS: Tsuki's is mostly high and Taiyo's is pretty low - we're very balanced!
OUR SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: Tsuki: I quite like children - I'm curious by nature, so I'll usually check out any little humans and interact with them if they're gentle and know how to play with cats.
Taiyo: I can be a bit more reserved - I'm pretty good though once you have my trust.
OUR SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: We haven't lived with other cats or dogs, so we don't really know if we'd like them or not! It might be fine if your resident pet has a relaxed personality and gives us our space.
*Currently living in Chiswick, Sydney*
Medical notes
Taiyo was diagnosed with epilepsy as a juvenile cat, and spent several years on medication. She was weaned off that 4-5 years ago and hasn't had a seizure since.
Taiyo also developed an allergy to Fancy Feast cat food, which manifested as granulomas last year. A dose of steroids cleared this up and she has had no problems since changing to a diet of Royal Canin and Advance wet food.
Taiyo's current owner is happy to discuss these in further detail with potential adopters.
