About Scruffy and Bundi
Scruffy and Bundi are absolutely adorable. They have taken a little longer to settle into foster care but are now doing great and are even playing with the 7 month old puppy in care with them. These boys are a dynamic duo and we would love to find them a home together so they can continue to bond with their new families with each other as company. They're in foster care currently with 6 other small breed dogs and are now doing excellent with them. They can be a little timid and shy at first but after a few days they really start showing their cheeky colours.
They have both been apartment dogs previously before surrendered into care so another set up like this wouldn't phase them at all. They're quiet as well. They're completely toilet and crate trained and also enjoy a brisk walk on the leash with others.
A home that allows them to be inside is a must as they really do show comfort with this and a home with fencing that has no gaps is also essential. Although they haven't shown any signs of wanting to escape, we want to make sure they're safe in their new homes.
Bundi is an 8 year old Maltese X male who is the dominant one of the two. He also adores his adopted brother Scruffy and really does protect him when times are confusing. But he absolutely adores people once he is allowed to settle and gain his confidence.
Scruffy is a 6 year old border terrier x Australian terrier and is probably around the 8 kilo range. He really depends on Bundi to show him what's safe and secure and he adores him like all hell.
Both boys aren't difficult to handle, they adore people but do need a home that understands they can be timid. And a home with other dogs isn't an issue, but again they will need time to adjust.
Adoption details
In the ENQUIRY SECTION please explain in LENGTH some basics about yourself/ your life/ your household and what type of life you can provide for one of our rescue animals.
If successful, you would be contacted by phone, where we will talk about your enquiry and potentially organise a meet and greet between you/ your dogs/ your family and the potential candidate
From there, you can either take your animal with you if the meet and greet was successful and their vet work has been completed- or if the vet work hasn't been completed, you must wait until it's finished before taking your new friend home which will be organised between yourself and the foster carer.
Every animal has a 2 week trial period.
