About Shadie *On Trial in Her New Home*
*SHADIE IS CURRENTLY TRIALING HER NEW HONE - NO MORE ENQUIRIES/APPLICATIONS PLEASE* Sweet pup Shadie is one of a litter of healthy, happy puppies who were born on the 18th of December 2015. Their mum is a Jack Russell Terrier cross while their father was unknown though we suspect he was some sort of Terrier cross judging by the shapes and sizes of the puppies.
All of the pups have friendly, affectionate natures and are used to being handled (cuddled!) by adults and older children. Shadie gets along well with her foster carers other little dogs just wanting to play or hang out. They all enjoy food, especially treats which is helping with their training and they’re learning the basics such as “sit” and “down”. They’ve also mastered their carers’ doggie door and are quickly picking up toilet-training. The pups haven’t spent any time on a lead as they’re being fostered on acreage so will need some practice with this in their forever homes.
Sleepy Shadie has a relaxed, gentle nature and really loves cuddles and spending time on your lap especially if it involves a snooze. This delightful little puppy tends to be the loner of the pack and likes to watch the other pups rough and tumble rather than joining in. She also enjoys her own company and will often spend time away from the others just doing her own thing, so we think she’d be fine as an only dog just so long as it was in a home where her humans were around a lot for company and not working long days.

As she’s only a young pup she will require ongoing obedience training as well as socialisation with other dogs so she grows up having lovely manners. Daily walks or runs around the backyard, secure fencing, toys to play with and a lap to curl up in will make Shadie very happy indeed!
Shadie would be best suited to an indoor / outdoor lifestyle with either a doggie companion to learn from or on in a home where her human/s are home a lot as she’s used to having company.

Adoption details
Please Note: SARG and our animals for adoption are located in Mildura in North-West Victoria.
Our adoption process commences with completing an Application form which you'll find at: www.sarg.net.au
The Application is then reviewed, references checked and a yard check done, then, if there are no issues, a meet and greet is organised. If all goes well the last stage is a 28 day home-trial to make sure that everyone is happy.
If the trial is successful our “stray” is then officially considered adopted and the microchip transferred into the new owners name.
If anything goes wrong SARG will always take back one of our animals :)
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
