Bonnie first came to us just before her 3rd birthday in 2016. She was adopted out to one home for several months before her family's circumstances changed & she was returned to GAP. She quickly found another home in Sydney's inner west, where she has been for the past 6 years.
Unfortunately a change in work & travel commitments has meant that Bonnie has been relinquished yet again. Bonnie is the easiest girl to live with & asks for very little.....except she does expect to be primarily an indoor dog which is what she is used to. Bonnie loves going for walks (she's currently working on her fitness level) and enjoys rides in the car. She is equally happy as an only dog or living with other sedate canine companions (currently sharing with two other quiet Greys).
Bonnie has recently had dental work where she required some extractions, mainly of her front teeth. She is also on a weight reduction diet as she was many kilos overweight. She has been diagnosed with protein in her urine, indicating early kidney disease, although she shows no clinical signs or changes in her bloodwork. She has recently been started on once a day medication (inexpensive anti-hypertensive tablet) with the aim to reduce the proteinuria.
We hope Bonnie can find a forever home this time to see out her twilight years. She would make a wonderful companion for anyone with a quiet homelife & just requires a short walk once or twice a day. She is used to having someone around much of the time, but is basically a no-fuss girl. She comes with several (almost new) dog beds & bowls as well as all the usual basic
equipment (lead, collar, coats etc).
Please contact us for any expressions of interest in this lovely lady.
