About Charlie the Pup
** Hello! Please read the entire profile and Adoption Procedures BEFORE sending your Enquiry for little Charlie Pup. Due to a huge number of applicants and being 100% volunteer run organisation, we are only able to respond to successful applicants. Thank you so kindly for choosing Rescue! xo **
Charlie is a 12week old, female staffy puppy, who's small now, but she'll be a big girl when she's grown up :) Charlie is a very inquisitive, food orientated, playful & affectionate cheeky little pup.
Charlie is almost totally toilet trained, accidents only being when there is no access to outdoors sometime - she's learnt super fast which is a testament to that clever little staffy in her.
Charlie is a beautiful young puppy who will grow to be a large dog! Around 35kgs. She's required to attend a puppy course upon adoption courtesy of the rescue organisation and organised by them & then we would like to adopters to continue her onto advanced obedience training after puppy school finishes. She has begun training in her foster home already, learning some basic obedience; to walk on lead, sit at crossings, wait before meals and socialise with other dogs and people. She's taken on regular short car trips now which she is getting the hang of & we frequent local cafes for coffee and breakfast where she is learning to also settle in slowly.
Charlie would to go to a forever home where she could have another dog to friend to play, where she will be kept safe and indoors when you are not at home and where her forever family will cherish and adore her, right through to the ripe old senior age. We believe dogs are a part of the family and should be included in everyday life.
Charlie lives with a few doggies and cats, and this young lady is a very fast learner and getting a wonderful start in life and learning lots of valuable things off her foster carer and dog friends at home.
We're looking for dedicated, mature humans to welcome her into their home & hearts, continue with her puppy training & socialisation & also of course commit to her on-going adult training which is so important for a doggy like Charlie.
ADOPTION PROCESS for Charlie:
If successful, the puppies will be placed on trials that will see them through puppy school and ongoing vet care. Our preference is that they are placed with families that have another playful, well socialised companion animal. It is a clause in the agreement that every Puppy will attend Puppy school as a part of the Adoption Process. Puppy School is held every weekend in Melbourne. Please ensure that you can make a big time and heart investment in a puppy before applying.
Charlie & her foster family look forward to hearing from you :)
Medical notes
Charlie is microchipped, vaccinated, flea'd and wormed, heart worm treated and will be desexed at 6months also – All of this is included in your adoption fee – which also goes back into the organisation to help rescue and treat more beautiful creatures.
