Molly ~ 7wo Boxer X (on trial 22/04/16)

Molly is a 7-week old, female Boxer X puppy. She is an extremely affectionate and lovable girl who adores a cuddle and will cover you with kisses.
Molly is quieter than her sister Milly, (also available for adoption) and will often come and curl up on my lap for a cuddle. She enjoys playing in the backyard with the other puppies and can be found wrestling, playing chasees or hiding in the garden.
Molly is a very smart puppy and has already mastered the doggie door. Her toilet training is a work in progress but she is doing very well. She is crate trained and is able to sleep comfortably all night without making a sound.
Molly is currently living with 5 other dogs – her litter sister Milly; an 8-week old puppy, Jedda (also available for adoption); a 12-year-old terrier; a Labrador and a Golden Retriever. She gets on well with all of them and also tries hard to make friends with the cranky old cat. Unfortunately, he isn’t very cooperative. Molly loves adults and children and will smother everyone with kisses.
Molly would be best suited to a family/couple/single where someone is at home most of the time or where there is another dog to keep her company. Being a puppy she should not be left alone for extended periods as she may get into mischief. She will need a home where she will be given lots of affection, exercise and training.
It is recommended that Molly attend puppy preschool so that she has the chance to learn basic manners and become a calm member of the family. Molly sleeps inside and will need a family that understands that she will benefit from indoor time when you are at home. She now brings herself inside for a nap via the doggie door and will curl up quietly on the lounge room rug.
Molly is a very smart puppy and responds well to training. She has excellent recall and is currently learning to sit and wait for her food. The waiting is the hard bit but she is trying. She is able to share a bowl of food with the other two puppies and adores a chicken neck to munch on.
As Molly is not yet desexed, she is only available for adoption in the Newcastle, Lake Macquarie and Central Coast areas and will need to be returned to our Vet for desexing when she’s 5-6 months old.
