Cherry ~ Kelpie (on trial 8/5/16)

Meet Cherry: a playful and loving little girl. Cherry is excellent with other dogs and children.

Cherry is becoming a fit, active and happy puppy who would make a perfect companion for a young family. Cherry is currently living with a larger dog and a small Border Collie x and gets along with them. Due to the fact that Cherry is living with a carer who is also a dog groomer, she has met a wide variety of other dogs and gets along with them all.

Although Cherry is good with basic commands such as, sit, bed and stay and learning to walk on a lead, she may need a little more work with more difficult commands. However, Cherry knows her name and is a very well-behaved girl.

She is sociable with other dogs and is fine around cats. She would make a lovely family pet as she is extremely affectionate and loving. She would be easy to train and is remarkably obedient and will return straight to your side when called. She is a high energy dog who would require daily walks and lots of toys to keep her amused. Just an adorable and happy girl who will become a most devoted pet and an excellent watchdog.

With her smooth coat that can easily be cared for with just a bath and the occasional brushing, Cherry is very low maintenance. Cherry would be happy as an only dog given plenty of love, attention and exercise, but wouldn’t mind sharing the love with other animals in the home.

Recently surrendered (through no fault of her own) to Dog Rescue Mudgee – a Branch of Dog Rescue Newcastle, Cherry is looking for a permanent home.

She is de-sexed, vaccinated, free of fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered. Her adoption fee is $400.
