Toby ~ 10 month old Kelpie Boy (On Trial 13/5/16)

Toby is a lovely 10 month old kelpie boy. He has a very attractive grey and white coat, and is very playful and affectionate.

Being a kelpie, Toby has a lot of energy and he will need a good sized yard, as well as daily opportunities to burn off his energy. He loves walks, going for runs, and chasing a ball. He is looking for a family who will share his active lifestyle and provide him with lots of toys and activities to keep him entertained during the day.

He loves playing with the other dogs he is currently living with, so a home with existing dogs is important. Toby also requires secure fencing.

Toby loves children. He has lived his whole life with young children and has always been friendly with them. We haven’t seen Toby interact with cats and other pets, so if you have existing pets he may need to meet them first to make sure they get along.

Toby currently spends most of his day outside and evenings/overnight indoors. He is very well behaved outside and rarely barks.

As Toby is still young and hasn’t had much training, it is essential that he find a family who are willing to invest time in obedience training and housetraining.
