About Harpo
This little boy named Harpo was borne into our family and he's a delightful. He's a Tenterfield Terrier and will be a small dog when he's grown. An active little guy and he loves to play with my kitten, Hermione and the like is mutual. Lucy has become his foster mother and they love to play with each other all day.
Hermione loves him to bits but alas he must find a fureva home soon.
I can say he's 95% house trained, and will give you notice by sitting in front of you then going to the door that he is ready to toilet.
He loves to play and as long as he is introduced, he will play with anyone, child to adult and will make a very cuddly and smoochy companion for his new family.
Harpo is keen to learn new tricks and can now go to bed, sit, stay, back and is almost house trained. He will also do wees on command when you take him outside. He loves to sleep in Lucy's bed so Lucy sleeps on another bed.
He is crate trained and will hold on to toilet until I release him outside. Outside is no problem and he plays there all day, having fun with his toys.
He has been desexed and immunised and is ready to find his forever home.
Harpo loves nothing better than to snuggle up next to me on the sofa at night. Playtime is now over and he sits quietly until I take him out to do wees.
Medical notes
will be heartwormed at 6 mths of age
Adoption details
Firstly you will need to complete an application with your name and address and contact details for the microchip records. Our online application form is available on our website http://www.radarescue.org/online-application-form
Or an application form can be requested by using the Email Carer feature on the pet's listing.
Please note that while we consider all applications in the order in which we receive them, our animals are not adopted out on a first come, first served basis. Our objective is to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable ‘forever’ home available to meet the animal's (and the person’s) characteristics and needs.
The final decision about which new home the animal goes to is made by the foster carer based on their knowledge and understanding of the potential home and the personality of the individual animal. Sometimes it may take several enquiries before you find the right RADAR furry friend for you!
We will need a non-refundable holding deposit of $50 minimum to hold a pet for you whilst awaiting everything to be finalised, however this amount is deducted from the adoption fee.
RADAR expects full payment on exchange of the pet or prior to it leaving on transport.
RADAR expects you to be responsible for transport costs. We can help source appropriate transport options or help find accommodation if you need to travel and stay overnight.
It is understood that if all goes wrong that you can return the pet safely and unharmed to RADAR for a full refund within one week of the adoption.
