About Demi
Beautiful, gentle Demi is patiently waiting for her forever home.
This beautiful, obedient young girl will suit an active young family or individual. Demi loves people & dogs alike, she also likes cats, living safely alongside them, with friendly interactions when the cats allow.
Demi is a submissive girl who eats with lovely manners alongside our other dogs. She has adjusted well to her foster carers home with her two foster brothers. She sleeps quietly all night out in her kennel. She will also sleep inside all night without the need to go outside for toilet breaks. When inside the home she is calm and well mannered. She doesn’t mind being separated from the others when required and happily spends time with us without the company of the other dogs.
When out in the paddock she shows interest in our horses & cows but is rather afraid of them, so no chasing has occurred.
Her recall is fantastic with a short whistle as she doesn't know her new name yet. This gorgeous girl is a lovely example of a kelpie. Intelligent, gentle, obedient & healthy, she will make a fantastic lifelong companion for her lucky adopter.

OUR ADOPTION PROCESS
1. You see a dog you like.
2.Fill in our online adoption form by clicking here or on our website. Be sure to include any questions you may have on our adoption form.: (This form does not obligate you to adopt, it simply gives us an idea of your situation and needs.)

3. If your are successful one of our volunteers will contact you to organise a meet and greet at your home and conduct a yard check at the same time.
4. Should all go to plan, you will be welcomed to start your 2 week trial period immediately. Adoption fee will be required to be paid at the beginning of the trial period.
During the 2 week trial period, should you decide that this dog is not for you, you can return the dog at any time (the more notice the better, so we can ensure we have a foster carer available) and your payment will be returned to you in full, within 3 business days of the return of the dog.

We are a volunteer run organisation, who have their own jobs during the day, we don't have someone manning our phone during this time, therefore cannot respond to all inquiries immediately. The fastest way to have your questions answered is to include it in the application form. This will speed up your application with us, and help us communicate with you faster.
Please be patient with us, as the unpredictable nature of rescue may prevent us from clearing all enquiries regularly.
