Ariat ~ 8yo Kelpie X (on trial 17/5/16)

Ariat is a beautiful Kelpie X Border Collie who is 8 and half years old. She is predominately grey and white with some tan highlights on her face and legs. She is a very playful girl, looking for some cuddles.

Ariat loves chasing waves at the beach, going for walks or just playing and getting lots of cuddles. Ari is an obedient girl - she will sit, come when called and at dinner time will wait until she is told to eat.

Ariat came to us a while ago in very poor condition and after much TLC is ready for her forever home. This little lady was very timid, underweight, had badly infected and fly-bitten ears and major hair loss. During her time with her foster mum her ear infections and injuries have cleared up, she is at a healthy weight and her hair is gradually growing back. She is a pretty girl and will be more so when her coat thickens.

Ariat has also come out of her shell and gets on well with other dogs. We are not sure how she would go with cats. She would suit a couple or family with older children as she can still get a bit nervous of too much excitement.

Ariat has had some time to learn how to be loved again and now just wants to be part of someone’s life who will give her affection and look after her well. This little lady deserves it.
