Shane

Shane is stunning! He has perfectly spots and a personality that is just loving and kind. He's only new to the rescue world but we really don't think he will last long at all. He is absolutely fantastic with people and loves nothing more than to go for a walk, follow you around and receive endless cuddles and kisses from you. He is also great with other dogs, he's in foster care with 10 others ranging in ages, breeds, sizes and genders and he does fine with all. He is a bit of a smooze though, so we think a girlfriend would be preferable for him as he does have a ladies charm about him. He's also with chickens and livestock on the property and hasn't shown any interest in chasing or hurting either. The chickens are cooped though, not free range.
He's met some young kids since being in care and he did great with the 2.5 year old but we would recommend a household with kids over 7 unless they're dog savvy and knowledgable as we don't know if a different reaction would occur if the kids ran, screamed or jumped. But a calm and dog savvy kid would be suitable.

We would recommend safe and secure fencing for Shane, over 5ft. He hasn't shown any jumping tendencies but this is just for precaution and an active household is a must, to keep this stunning boy mentally and physically stimulated. Another dog in the household is preferable, so he has company when people are gone and a girlfriend wouldn't hurt. But we would consider a household with him as an only dog if suitable.
