About Possum
Introducing the lady in blue or as she's known in her foster home Possum.
Possum is all things great bundled into one cuddly package. She is full of confidence love and affection for everyone. She loves to play yet is incredibly gentle at the same time. Absolutely nothing phases her. She'd suit any home but would be especially suited for a family with children who will play with her.
Her foster mum says Possum must have taken lessons in being cute and mastered them all. She's a daily source of entertainment. A chin scratch or play time with her fishie toy will earn you a favourite status. But don't worry if you like massages Possum will return the favour when she comes to cuddle up.

Adoption details
STUFF YOU NEED TO KNOW: I will come desexed, vaccinated (1st F3) and microchipped and will have up to date worm and flea treatments. I will need to be lifetime registered which is a $52 once off fee. ($21.00 for eligible pensioners) This is compulsory in NSW.
ADOPTING ME: You must be able to provide me with a loving long term and safe home. I would be fine in an apartment as long as I didn't have free run of the balcony if it wasn't fully enclosed. Please ensure your house or apartment can contain a cat inside (ie fly screens etc).
Please remember that I have thought seriously about taking you on and when you take me home, I am committing to you for life. So, I hope you have thought seriously about this and are likewise planning on committing to me.
ABOUT YOU: Given you know all about me, my foster parents would like to know something about who my new parents are going to be. They have rescued me from death row and have given me a lot of care and love. I know they love me and therefore want the best for me.
ABOUT US: AWL Western Suburbs branch wants to promote adoptions of cats from Blacktown Pound and to try to re-home them either directly from the pound or from our foster carers. If you would like to help us, please feel free to contact us and find out how you may assist, including being a foster parent.
All adoptions will require a Preadoption application form completed and returned prior to a meet & greet with our cats. Forms will be emailed to you after the initial phone enquiry or email for a form now.
