About Tiki
iki has to be one of the most easy going dogs we have ever dealt with (and that is literally hundreds of them). She has a wonderful affectionate nature and has shown incredible patience.
Tiki was bailed out of the pound some months ago and only then we noticed a painful limp. She subsequently had surgery and a prosthetic was inserted in her knee to overcome a ruptured cruciate ligament. Tiki has spent over six weeks confined to a cage with limited exercise every one to two hours.... after her short time out of the cage she would obediently trot back in with a look which said "If I have to!" but rarely complained. Bettina and Lee have done a great job with Tiki's rehabilitation and she will soon be trotting around as good as new. We would like to see an extra special owner come forward for this gentle Dane. She has earned the 'BEST" and we can't speak highly enough of her. She also gets on well with other dogs- even a miniscule chihuahua.
"ABOUT ME" by my Foster Carer
Tiki came to us about one year ago after her knee surgery.
She is very laid back and loves her cuddles. loves her walks and is eager to please. She is house trained, good with children and other dogs.
She has become very protective since Tucker (now approx. 6 months) came to stay around Christmas time. Her and Tucker have become really good mates so would love to see them get adopted out together if at all possible.
