About Milady (or Maddie for short)
Our pretty Milady has come into our care because her owners are moving to a unit where they can't have her any more. She is a darling and already responds to simple commands and has a friendly nature.
Milady is a cattle dog with an amazing burgundy chocolate coloured coat dappled with white hairs like mohair. Ginger highlights such as eyebrows and paws complete a very attractive picture.
Just What The Doctor Ordered
Milady has fallen on her feet and is having a ball out at Lake Julius. Our lively girl was finding life difficult in a small suburban yard surrounded by a colourbond fence and was going a little stir crazy and creating a bit of havoc for her patient but frustrated carers. Although we rang everyone we knew, we couldn't find anyone suitable to take her on so we were all getting stressed.
Just when we were ready to throw in the towel, we received a phone call out of the blue from Traci at Lake Julius offering to foster Milady. A very frightened girl was loaded onto the back of the ute for the hour and a half trip to Lake Julius. However, she soon perked up when she saw the acres and acres she had to explore and met her new buddies. Maddie (her new name which she likes) has fitted in beautifully with her new family and is loving the activity and freedom so everyone is happy!
