About Missy
Gorgeous Missy was actually adopted in January last year by a lovely couple who love her to bits however the health of one of her parents has deteriorated badly and sadly he is now confined to a wheelchair with his wife as a full time carer. As much as they love Missy there just wasn't enough time to spend with her and she became unhappy in the environment so the difficult decision was made to rehome her. Missy is now in care with several other dogs and is loving the canine company. She is typical JRT in some ways (like her love of chasing lizards etc.) but not in terms of her behaviour. She is such a gentle, beautiful natured girl who hardly ever barks, loves cuddles and licks and is not hyperactive at all. Missy was born with very diminished sight but that doesn't stop her at all as she gets around confidently and is very self sufficient. As far as Missy is concerned, that's the way the world looks and she just gets on with loving life. Missy is a small girl weighing around 5-6kg and has a very easy care coat that does shed. She is looking for a home where her owners will keep her safe and have time for her, be conscious of her sight issues and give her lots of walks and cuddles. Missy is not suited to a home with children under 5 years or with cats but should have another small, friendly doggy there for companionship.
