About Nikki *On Trial in Her New Home*
*NIKKI IS CURRENTLY ON TRIAL IN HER NEW HOME* Looking for a well-behaved German Shepherd without going through the pesky puppy-stage??? Then you can’t go past friendly, life-loving Nikki!! She’s looking for a home with another dog for company; will it be with you?
Nikki is a truly delightful dog who’s described as a terrific all-rounder; this gal will steal your heart! She’s calm but can still be puppyish when the mood takes her. She’s friendly and affectionate and has a gentle nature and rarely jumps up making her ideal around school-aged children.
Gorgeous Nikki is an intelligent, alert dog that has been taught wonderful manners from a young age; she knows ‘sit’, has excellent recall (walks well both on and off lead), travels well in a car, she doesn’t scoff her food….and she love treats (especially Schmackos!) which will help with any further training you might like to do.

Having not been around a cat since coming into foster care we’re not sure how she’d go living with one although she doesn’t appear to have a mean bone in her body. Nikki’s terrific with dogs of all shapes and sizes though she’d probably be best living with one of a similar size.
Adorable Nikki loves going for swims in the Murray River, although she’s quite content to splash around in her backyard doggie pool during the warmer months. She is toilet-trained and enjoys an indoor / outdoor lifestyle which we’d want to see continued in her forever home – Nikki sleeps outside at night. Daily walks, secure fencing, toys to play with and a doggie friend will make Nikki very happy indeed!
So if you’re looking for a loving all-rounder to share your home with then please download and complete a SARG Dog Adoption Application form by following this link: http://www.sarg.net.au/adopt-a-pet/

Adoption details
Please Note: SARG and our animals for adoption are located in Mildura in North-West Victoria.
Our adoption process commences with completing an Application form which you'll find at: www.sarg.net.au
The Application is then reviewed, references checked and a yard check done, then, if there are no issues, a meet and greet is organised. If all goes well the last stage is a 28 day home-trial to make sure that everyone is happy.
If the trial is successful our “stray” is then officially considered adopted and the microchip transferred into the new owners name.
If anything goes wrong SARG will always take back one of our animals :)
