About Ruby: Kelpie/Mastiff x (on trial 1/05/16)
A complete gem!
Ruby is a gorgeous girl who will be a lovely addition to a loving, permanent home. She is an adorable, happy, healthy and playful pup with a fantastically affectionate nature. Ruby is fit and active and would make a perfect companion for a young family, as she loves playing with children.
Being very social and playful, Ruby loves being around people as well as animals and gets along remarkably with other dogs. Friendly and good-natured, she easily gets along with all creatures. Ruby is also very well-mannered at mealtime.
Ruby is learning basic commands such as 'bed' and 'stay'. She can already sit on command, walks well on a lead, but may need a little more work on being house trained. She is quite responsive and eager to learn and will soon be a very well-rounded girl.
With her smooth coat that can easily be cared for with just a bath and the occasional brushing, Ruby is very low maintenance. She will grow up to be a medium size adult dog. Ruby would be happy as an only dog given plenty of love, attention and exercise, but wouldn’t mind sharing this love with other animals in the home.
If you feel you can provide this super friendly pup with a loving, permanent home, please contact Nora at 0418 402 150 or email: drnmudgeebranch@yahoo.com. Ruby is currently in foster care in Mudgee, NSW.
Ruby is de-sexed, vaccinated, free of fleas and worms, microchipped, and is and ready to go to her new home. Her adoption fee is $400. She is vaccinated, free of fleas and worms and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $400.
Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
