About Lois ~ Ridgeback X Kelpie (on trial 20/08/16)
Introducing Lois, our female, 5 month old, Ridgeback X Kelpie puppy. Lois is a very independent puppy who enjoys spending her days playing with her big brother, Clarke (also available for adoption) and hanging out with the big dogs at her foster carers house. She can be a little bit timid at times when she is introduced to new things, but we are helping her overcome these fears, Lois especially loves time with her foster carer's and their kids, and these are her most enjoyable moments.
Lois will grow up to be medium sized and she will need a very secure back yard with 5 or 6ft fencing. Because she is still young she will need someone to be home with her a lot in the initial few weeks. Lois will need to be walked daily, so an active family would be wonderful for her.
For more information or to meet Lois, please contact her foster carer Darlene on 0438 346 668 or email pdsbf@bigpond.net.au. Lois is in Hunterview near Singleton, NSW.
Lois' adoption fee is $500 and includes her desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
