Clarke ~ Ridgeback X Kelpie (Trial 1/5/16)

Introducing Clarke, our male, 8 week old, Ridgeback X Kelpie.

We're sure you've noticed, and the answer to your question is YES!!. He really is as adorable in real life as he looks in his picture. Those dopey, dreamy eyes will suck you in every time, and there's little you can do about it.

Clarke is a very placid and easy going puppy who spends his days rolling around playing with his sister Lois, who is the more adventurous one in comparison (and also available for adoption), or hanging out with the 3 other dogs at his foster carers home. He is very dog social.

Clarke has a huge passion for cuddling up with his foster family, which consists of two adults and two kids, and he adores them all! He is very sooky and there is no such thing as too much attention as far as he's concerned. Is really is a lovely little boy. You'll also be pleased to learn that Clarke very rarely barks.

Due to his age, Clarke has not yet commenced learning his manners, however it's very important that his new family guide him with training, or even better - enrol him for puppy preschool! We always recommend puppy-training classes to give your new family member the best start in life. All dogs and puppies need plenty of affection, exercise, and training.

Due to Clarke's breed and potential size he will need a very secure back yard with 5 - 6ft fencing, and because he is quite young he will need someone to be home with him a lot in the initial few weeks. Clarke will need to be walked daily, so an active family would be wonderful for him.

By the time Clarke is ready to embark on his new adventure he will have completed his 1st and 2nd vaccinations, which are included in his adoption fee (amongst other things) however his 3rd vaccination will be at the cost of his new family. When Clarke is 4 - 5 months old he will need to attend one of our approved vets for desexing, and for this reason we can only consider local applicants at this time (Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens).
