Zara *Adoption Pending*

We would like to tell you a story, this is a rags to riches story, reminiscent of the ugly ducking to a swan, pretty woman or Cinderella. You see our beautiful Zara wasn't always so, when she arrived into our care she was quite the sorry sight. Fur missing on large parts of her body, a skinny frame, brown colour and a broken toe to top it all off, she wasn't the happiest of girls and the world was a bit scary as humans had let her down.
But let's not dwell on what was because now Princess Zara is nothing like her former self, she is furry and fluffy, loving and white and she is ready to find love again.
So let us tell you a bit about this Princess. Zara gives fantastic cuddles, she will even wrap her paws around you, she is still soft and sensitive and trusts cautiously but once she does it is done with all her heart. She isn't one of those paddock Maremmas with their independent toughness, she is a family and house dweller who likes to be a big part of what's going on. She loves her comfy bed to snuggle in, it was scary at first but now the luxury of softness has won her over. She loves a good crazy run around the yard and a dig in her paddling pool, even princesses enjoy some crazy fun. And her secret vice is ripping apart soft toys in which she takes great delight. She is still a young girl and her training is going well, new tricks and commands have been learnt but as with most Maremmas sometimes she needs to be persuaded that's it's a good idea. She is a lady with her own thoughts and opinions.
Mostly Zara needs lots of love, a family that will be by her side no matter what, a place where being yelled at doesn't happen and understanding is abundant. In return this beautiful girl will give you all the love you need and stand by you when she thinks you could be in danger.
As well as being awesome Zara is good with other dogs even the small ones and is good with cats and caged birds. She is also crate trained and travels wonderfully in the car.
