About Cheno the Chaser (Chase)
Chase is a most beautiful boy. He was kept in a shed on a concrete floor for the first months of his life.
No comforts for him, because, he was too slow.
No pats, no cuddles, no treats.
When we took him, all he wanted to do was curl in a ball and hide as far from people's view as he could.
Four months later, he is a new boy.
Loves pats and scratches, loves his toys. Happily runs with a big male malamute and tries very hard to ignore the cats.
Cannot vouch for him ignoring little fluffies though, so would be best homed with none of them.
Likes the girl dogs of course, and adores human company.
Chase walks nicely on the lead, and doesn't rush for food. He sits awkwardly, as do all greyhounds. He has absolutely no food aggression, because he isn't watching his weight ;)
Will walk with you, or if you let him off, will do zoomies until you call his name, and he comes back.
His life experiences have been limited, so his ideal owner will commit to dog training, and have patience with him as he is a beautiful soul.
Toilet training is a slow job, but he is getting there.
Because he is a failed racer, he is required to wear a muzzle at all times in public places.
Chase is located on Phillip Island if you would like to meet him
