About Major
Major is looking for a foster home with the view to adopt.
Major came to us from a pound in Canberra, he was very lucky to be able to come to Victoria and have a second chance at life! Some of our lovely volunteers drove him all the way from Canberra to Melbourne! Just amazing the support we have!
Major is 7 or 8 years old. He LOVES car rides and just places his boof head perfectly in your lap to keep you company.
Major has shown beautiful temperament with children and adults, he is VERY gentle and just wants to be near you wherever you are. Major has a little struggle interacting with other dogs. In his past life he had a few run in’s with other canine’s and as a result he doesn't really know what to do when around them. He had a walk with Sadie a wonderful VBTR's member's doggy and showed great body language throughout this! We would like someone to build on his confidence with this so that he is able to have social on lead walks with other pooches. Major will need to go to an only animal home where someone is home with him. He does have some anxiety issues which are being worked on with medication and a behaviourist.
Major is such a loving dog and just wants humans that won't let him down as he has been in the past
Major desperately wants a family of him own where he can be the centre of attention.
