Poppy

POPPY was a breeding dog.
When she came into rescue she had a broken spirit, was very malnourished and about to give birth. Over the past 2.5 months we have seen an incredibly courageous, resilient, humorous creature emerge. Poppy is the most adored dog by our rescue. Her joys are very precious to us. Poppy loves to chill on the couch and watch films, to go on adventures, run through the creek, she's incredibly loyal and affectionate. Poppy often sleeps with her paws in the air and sometimes falls off the couch, she likes to sheepishly steal slices of pizza and jump into laps for cuddles, she makes her carers laugh. She has just discovered toys and loves playing games. Poppy still has very sad eyes and can sometimes be shy but in the right home she will continue to heal into an incredible best friend.

NO CATS OR OTHER RESIDENT CREATURES

We would love for Poppy to spend the rest of her life with one of her babies, living a life of luxury at home with her humans, to be included in their daily activities and taken on adventures. Poppy has been used for breeding her entire life and is ready to be treasured.
