About Mishie
Mishie was privately surrendered into Wally's care. She was very underweight and had not been taught any basic manners. Mishie is in foster care with 3 host dogs and a cat and is getting along well with them. She is sometimes a little too interested in the cat but does listen when told enough is enough. Mishie is a fun loving and affectionate girl.
During her time in care, Mishie is undergoing training and is now walking well on lead, will sit and drop on command and knows 'leave it'. Off lead recall is currently being worked on and will need to be continued in her new home. Obedience training would be beneficial for both Mishie and her new owner to help build a bond between the two of you.
Mishie has not shown any food aggression or dominance but does need to be reminded of her manners when meeting new dogs. She's a super playful dog who loves all her toys and would much prefer to occupy herself with them rather than have you involved. Whilst Mishie is not currently living with children, a home with children would be fine but recommend 8yrs+ due to her energy level.
We would love to see Mishie find a home with/without a doggie companion and someone who has the time to spend with continuing her training. Wyong Dog Training Club will provide 3 free dog training sessions http://wyongdogtrainingclub.org.au/ so please be sure to utilise this awesome gift which will benefit both you and Mishie.

Please contact Vanessa via phone/email should you wish to meet Mishie.
When enquiring about Mishie, please give us some indication of the type of home that she would have with you. We are interested in things such as other animals (past and present), children who may have contact with the dog, whether you own or rent your home, what opportunities for socialization outside the home your dog would have, how much you/someone is home and most importantly, why you feel this dog may be suitable for you.
Wally's Doggie Rescue put a lot of time and effort into ensuring our dogs/pups are sociable and made to feel part of the family, so in considering adoptions, these are the type of things we will be looking for in a new family.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
