About Lucy (Dog Friendly)
Meet Lucy, a bouncing Boxer x Mastiff full of energy girl, pulled from death row the afternoon she was saved by Wally's Doggie Rescue.
Lucy is in foster care with two Boxer host male dogs, and gets on well with both. She can mix it with the boys and can stand up for herself. Lucy is described as a HIGH energy dog and will require a Boxer experience forever home.
At food time Lucy has been kept seperate from her host dogs. Lucy shows no food aggression towards her foster family. Lucy is described as very dog friendly and will need a home with another large dog to keep her company. Lucy requires secure 6 foot fencing, to keep her from wondering off and taking herself for a walk. Lucy can get excited easily and requires an owner with Boxer experience, so she can continue to learn how to behave.
Lucy sleeps inside on her bed of a night time and is FULLY toilet trained inside the home. Lucy is working on off leash recall. Lucy walks perfectly on a lead. Lucy is eager to learn and is obedient, and knows how to SIT, knows the command OFF and AWAY.

Adoption details
When enquiring about Lucy, please give us some indication of the type of home that she would have with you. We are interested in things such as other animals (past and present), children who may have contact with the dog, whether you own or rent your home, what opportunities for socialisation outside the home your dog would have, how much you/someone is home and most importantly, why you feel this dog may be suitable for you.
Wally's Dog Rescue put a lot of time and effort into ensuring our dogs/pups are sociable and made to feel part of the family, so in considering adoptions, these are the type of things we will be looking for in a new family.
To kickstart my training, Wyong Dog Training Club will provide 3 FREE dog training sessions
http://wyongdogtrainingclub.org.au/. So please be sure to utilise this awesome gift which will benefit both you and Lucy.
Wally's Doggie Rescue likes all of our rescues to be adopted into families that will continue their socialisation and allow their dogs inside of the home on a regular basis to ensure that they are part of the family. This is particulary so if they are to be an only dog.
Lucy is located in North Balgowlah, NSW. If there are other dogs in the family we encouraged you to bring along your existing dog to meet Lucy.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
