Emily

Emily is a Maltese x Jack Russell she s a quiet girl.
Emily came to me as a little "lost soul" for all her life she has been a puppy mill mum and while she is very good with dogs and pretty good with cats she was very scared of people :-( ... After being here for about 4 weeks Emily has done really well considering how scared she was. I can now walk up to her and give her a pat and a kiss without her running away she will sit on my lap but is still not sure about that, she will now sleep on the bed with me and come over to me for pats when encouraged, she also knows her name and responds to it, I have no doubts in my mind that she will continue to improve in her new home if the new owner s are willing to nurture her further ... I do strongly feel that she needs to go into a home that has another dog about her size in it, as she seems to need that reassurance and also a reasonably quiet household probably no children would work.
