About Rae
The smile says it all!
Rae is a beautiful girl with an adorable personality.
She's still a baby at heart who loves snuggling up on the sofa with her people for a cuddle and a nap.
Being a Heeler Rae is a big ball of energy, she loves her playtime, going for walks and big runs around the park.
Rae has not had a lot of opportunity to socialise with other dogs and can become quite nervous and defensive but does seem to relax with a controlled introduction. We think she would settle well in a home with a non dominant desexed boy buddy for companionship and to help her gain confidence. Homes with a female dog will not be considered due to dominance issues that can arise between 2 females.
Rae would greatly benefit from training. She hasn't really been taught a lot previously but her carer is working with her and she is catching on quickly. Ruby is very smart and loves nothing more than pleasing her people and receiving praise. Training will also help her social skills, create a lasting bond with her new leader and help her understand what is expected of her so she can become a wonderful addition to her new home.
Rae has been sleeping indoors while she has been in care and we would like her to have the same opportunity in her new home to offer her security and help her feel like she is an important part of the family
She is an absolute pleasure to be around and we believe she has a lot of loyalty and love to offer
Rae is currently in Endeavour Hills
If you would like to offer Rae a loving home we look forward to hearing from you.
