About Milly
Milly found herself in the pound and was not going to sit back and let everyone walk on past her and adopt a kitten. In kitten season adult cats struggle to gain adoptions over cute kittens.
Well Milly will tell you that adult cats are extra cute too. Adult cats shine with their own fully developed personalities!! There is no guessing what you are getting with an adult cat.
Milly caught the eye of her foster mum who choose Milly over every other cat in the cattery so like the movie "there's something about Mary" ...there's something about Milly which you will fall in love with.
So what do you get with our Milly........a cat that loves people. A cat that will be happy to sleep curled up when you are away from home but when home will be with you. A cat that is looking ahead to the cooler months so she can keep her new mum or dad warm by curling up on their laps.
If you would like to meet Milly please call Jeanette on 0401 148 076 to organise a pre adoption application to be forwarded.
Adoption details
STUFF YOU NEED TO KNOW: I will come desexed, vaccinated (1st F3) and microchipped and will have up to date worm and flea treatments. I will need to be lifetime registered which is a $52 once off fee. ($21.00 for eligible pensioners) This is compulsory in NSW.
ADOPTING ME: You must be able to provide me with a loving long term and safe home. I would be fine in an apartment as long as I didn't have free run of the balcony if it wasn't fully enclosed. Please ensure your house or apartment can contain a cat inside (ie fly screens etc).
Please remember that I have thought seriously about taking you on and when you take me home, I am committing to you for life. So, I hope you have thought seriously about this and are likewise planning on committing to me.
ABOUT YOU: Given you know all about me, my foster parents would like to know something about who my new parents are going to be. They have rescued me from death row and have given me a lot of care and love. I know they love me and therefore want the best for me.
ABOUT US: AWL Western Suburbs branch wants to promote adoptions of cats from Blacktown Pound and to try to re-home them either directly from the pound or from our foster carers. If you would like to help us, please feel free to contact us and find out how you may assist, including being a foster parent.
All adoptions will require a Preadoption application form completed and returned prior to a meet & greet with our cats. Forms will be emailed to you after the initial phone enquiry or email for a form now.
