About Conchita
About Conchita: she is a pretty placid and friendly cat with pleasant manners.
She likes to have a chat to you at the end of the day and when her bowl is empty. She is a petite cat.
Sweet non-invasive. Perfect toileting skills. Doesn't engage in any destruction that her kids initiated they have all been adopted and now Conchita is looking for a home to call her own.
Conchita is a perfect pet for those who don't want a lot of work. Satisfied with minimal attention. Likes to be patted and never shy of a rub herself.
Are you looking for a sensational Tuxi cat with a bit of class. Look no further. Conchita is the one.
It is impossible not to fall in love her - affectionate but not clingy chatty but not annoying quiet but not shy she is a true lady. Her kids have all moved out but no one seems to be in a hurry to take her home.
Conchita would love to be part of a family where she can shower her purrs and head butt kisses on one and all.

What Jeanette thinks: I was with Conchita the weekend the photos were taken and I can vouch that she is one very very special cat. She is so gentle in her nature and would be a wonderful cat to welcome into your home. I was totally taken with Conchita.
Adoption details
STUFF YOU NEED TO KNOW: I will come desexed, vaccinated (1st F3) and microchipped and will have up to date worm and flea treatments. I will need to be lifetime registered which is a $52 once off fee. ($21.00 for eligible pensioners) This is compulsory in NSW.
ADOPTING ME: You must be able to provide me with a loving long term and safe home. I would be fine in an apartment as long as I didn't have free run of the balcony if it wasn't fully enclosed. Please ensure your house or apartment can contain a cat inside (ie fly screens etc).
Please remember that I have thought seriously about taking you on and when you take me home, I am committing to you for life. So, I hope you have thought seriously about this and are likewise planning on committing to me.
ABOUT YOU: Given you know all about me, my foster parents would like to know something about who my new parents are going to be. They have rescued me from death row and have given me a lot of care and love. I know they love me and therefore want the best for me.
ABOUT US: AWL Western Suburbs branch wants to promote adoptions of cats from Blacktown Pound and to try to re-home them either directly from the pound or from our foster carers. If you would like to help us, please feel free to contact us and find out how you may assist, including being a foster parent.
All adoptions will require a Preadoption application form completed and returned prior to a meet & greet with our cats. Forms will be emailed to you after the initial phone enquiry or email for a form now.
